Bethany was bred at Livanti Alpacas. Her dam is Titania and her sire is Bozedown Victor.
Bethany’s fleece is mid brown, fine and soft. She is the smallest of our adult alpacas but she is a great character and very assertive !
Bethany’s 2005 cria was Cairndinnis Archie and in July 2006 she gave birth to Cairndinnis Bonnag. 2009’s cria is fawn Cairndinnis Enoch. Bethany’s rather hands-off style of motherhood produces confident cria.
Dichosa born 11th June 2003
Dichosa’s sire is mid fawn Jolimont Havana and her dam is rose grey East Howle Phoebe. She is Chile’s half-sister and shares his alertness and curiosity.
She is a very unusually marked dark brown alpaca with a fine, dense and lustrous fleece.

Milka born 30th January 1997
Milka is the oldest member of our herd. She was born in Chile and bred by Maria Bravo of Quintessence. She came to us from Purston Alpacas.
Milka is solid blue black with a good frame and bone and a very attractive head. She has a pleasing temperament and a very elegant presence.
She is the proud mother of male Cairndinnis Caledonian, or Cally, and of female Cairndinnis Dollaidh whose sire is our own Purston Pride of Place and of fawn Cairndinnis Erica.
Cairndinnis Bass born 11th July 2006
Dominique’s daughter Bass, is solid white with a very good covering of dense fleece with lovely brightness and good crimp. She may have taken this from her multi-prize winning sire Bozedown Neptune.
She loves to meet new people, especially if they may have food ! She is well-mannered and confident and is very comfortable on a halter - she just about puts her head in herself if a walk is in the offing.
Her first cria is white boy Cairndinnis Elgin.
Cairndinnis Belhaven born 10th May 2006
Belhaven is Daniella’s first cria for us. Belhaven was sired by import Bozedown Olympus.
Belhaven is in most respects the very image of her mother Daniella. She is sturdily built and a little reserved and cautious.
She has a very abundant fleece with great coverage and good crimp.
Cairndinnis Bonnag born 1st July 2006
Bethany’s 2006 cria, officially called Bonnag after the famous Manx delicacy, is “Bonnie” for short. Her sire is dark brown Peruvian import Bozedown Solo.
She has good coverage and gossamer-soft evenly coloured fleece. She has a lovely presence and a wonderfully perky stance. Bonnie has all of her mother Bethany’s assertiveness but in a more concentrated package !
Bonnie’s first cria is fawn girl Cairndinnis Eve.
Cairndinnis Caskie
born 20th May 2007
Caskie is Jasmine’s first cria and was eagerly awaited ! Her name comes from Caskieberran, the farm in Fife where John’s family lived before coming to Cairndinnis.
She weighed in at a hefty 10kg at birth and has grown fast since. She is evenly coloured and a dark medium fawn in colour - roughly mid way in colour between her dam Jasmine and her sire, Greenholme Bolly.
Cairndinnis Dollaidh born 27th July 2008
Dollaidh (pronounced “Dolly”) was born on a sunny Sunday, in the shade of trees. She was not a large cria but is well grown going into her second year. Her name is gaelic for “drunk” !
Dollaidh’s dam is black Milka and her sire is our own mid fawn Purston Pride of Place.
She has black points and was dark chocolate brown at birth. Her fleece is coming in rather lighter now though - we may need to change her registration to mid-brown !
